The latest idea from Newworld Technology Ltd. is set to end radiation worries for style conscious cellphone users.
The innovative new ‘Deflex-Ray’ accessory replaces standard plastic phone housings with a chic metallic fascia that’s resistant to radiation. Phone fashion followers can soon give their handset a ‘style makeover’ while keeping their brain cells healthy at the same time.
Many frequent cellphone users have been concerned by recent alarms about handset radiation emissions. Some products are currently available to help block these emissions, including thick leather cases lined with metal gauze, but these are cumbersome and distinctly ‘un-cool’.
The Deflex-Ray metallic fascia is sleek and light to hold, with a unique laminated construction. A special polymer base is covered by a thin metallic outer layer, blocking radiation before it reaches the users.
This ‘must-have’ accessory can be produced in stunning space-age materials like magnesium alloy and aluminium, or even in luxury precious metal versions.
Joseph Jones, Newworld Tech. Ltd. director said, “ We wanted to create a product that fuses technology with fashion and jewellery design. People want their phones to be safe, but they want them to look good too.”
Deflex-Ray fascias will be launched in versions that fit any phone with an inter-changeable cover and an internal aerial, including the most popular Nokia models.
Newworld have an international patent pending and are interested in finding a forward-thinking development partner. “We want to find the right company to help bring Deflex-Ray to the UK, US and international markets” said Jones “Where we think consumers will be very excited about this product.
