| Yoga Gets A Face Lift
by Anonymous
GLENDALE, AZ July 15, 2004 -- Yoga—which has become a household name in American culture—receives a face lift with the debut release from Swami Prem, America's Youngest Swami and leading authority on traditional yoga in the United States.
Swami Prem is ready to self-publish his first book, Words of a Yogi: A Book on God, Yoga and Life. In his book, he brings alive the traditional origins and practices of yoga—those that have been long forgotten by the body-crazy and body-worshipping yoga practitioners of modern America.
The book—a collection of essays on God, love, life, yoga, selfless service, humanity and religion—is an easy read. The reader can read one essay at a time and gain knowledge and inspiration, or indulge and read multiple essays, as they flow seamlessly together.
To accompany Words of a Yogi is a bookblog (www.americanswami.com/yogi)—a website dedicated to the book. Visitors can expect to find news, updates, excerpts, facts about the book, press coverage, interviews and in the near future, two interactive features, the "Ask Swami" section, where spiritual seekers can ask Swami Prem questions. The second feature is the planning of an interactive community surrounding the material in the book, where members throughout the world can connect and discuss the book.
